What does infused actually mean?
That concentrate has been added to the flower. The three common builds are a kief coating rolled onto the outside, distillate mixed into the ground flower or run down the center as a core, and a live resin or rosin infusion for brands going after flavor rather than pure potency. The label usually names which one you are getting.
How much stronger is an infused pre roll?
Meaningfully. Flower generally tests in the 20 to 30 percent range, while an infused joint commonly lands in the 35 to 50 percent range depending on how much concentrate went in and what kind. Treat one as more than a single session, especially if your usual is uninfused flower. Sharing an infused joint is the normal way to smoke it.
Why does an infused joint keep going out?
Because concentrate does not burn the way flower does. Distillate and rosin need more sustained heat, so infused joints run slower, canoe more easily, and want a relight now and then. That is normal and not a defect. Rotating the joint as you smoke and taking slower draws keeps the cherry even.
